One of the many Hebrew and Aramaic mosaic inscriptions in the floor of the synagogue. One of these is a list of geneology from Adam to Japheth. Another is a list of the months of the year and the signs of the zodiac. Other inscriptions are dedicatory (just like modern synagogue inscriptions), and one pronounces threats and curses on anyone who causes controversy or libel, or who "reveals the secret of the city" (probably a business secret).
